Apparently, mom traveled to the future to escape being experimented on then met the dad. But she had to travel back to her own time cause she doesn't belong in the future, otherwise she and her baby will die. So chesha was made in the future but born in the past

It think u got it wrong, read some spoilers and someone said that the reason fl’s mom went back in time was because her body was rejecting since she’s not originally from the fl’s dad’s timeline. fl’s Mom was slowly getting sick and since she was pregnant at that time it could jeopardize the baby’s health. she probably went back to her original timeline so that fl doesn’t die with her.
the time travel element to make her 20yr old just feels like lazy writing… going back in time to give birth to her because her powers went out of control wtf
