"Dangerous convenience store" seemed somewhat "traditional" to me! (as in big older seme, smaller younger uke). it's really good and I recommend it if you haven't read it already! https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/dangerous_convenience_store/
also "Love is an illusion" was pretty good! although I feel like the majority of people already read this one https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/love_is_an_illusion/
Some works by ECHO Jiro might also be considered somewhat traditional yaoi? but those are mainly just smut https://www.mangago.zone/r/l_search/?name=echo%20jiro
enjoy!!! ヾ(❀╹◡<)ノ~

I think the 'founder' of yaoi is Kaze to Ki no Uta, with the angst, smut, pining, the heartache, is that what you meant by traditional?
Then try Sex Pistols, very unique story but at the same time cliche.
You may want to try Madarame Hiro's work as well. I think all of their works have the same vibe.
That manga and the artist I mentioned have the '90s artstyle' as well.
I'm a traditional bl enthusiast pls give me some recommendations (〃゚3゚〃)
