The mystery of Seo's past is very very sad. What he is remember know is not what actually happened. The truth about Domin, Kangjin, the rest of old Revenger is more tragic than that. I was sobbing reading those parts in the novel. And whenever Seo got hurt or in mana delepletion state, it was unbearable to read.
Jihan is a green forest although he is acting like a brat. He is equally powerful as Seo, the difference is Jihan is a sword while Seo is a shield. It doesn't mean that Seo can not do the attacking. In a mission usually it's Jihan do the most but in a separate line of stricker. While Seo is acting like a shield and also beat monsters & bosses in different line.
The 2nd great dungeon will re-appear again. Seo will get his weapon spirit back and this is crucial for beating Great Dungeon's final boss. Both Seo and Jihan survived the whole ordeal and they decided to be in a relationship.
If you looking forward to see intimacy moment, well be patient. It's like catching a rare Pokemon. They are still lovely without sex scenes tho'.
The story doesn't end when the Great Dungeon dissapeared.
