in this, the only world mc's ever been in was the omegaverse. the world he thought he came from was dissociation he dreamed up before he & ml got bounced back to the beginning. it's not a time loop in the traditional sense, bc they can & do change things and carry over knowledge. and apparently sketchbooks.

it's a bit confusing, i get it. i'll try a little more broken down:
mc didn't read a novel. the "novel" is reality. his calm life in an ordinary world without ABO is imaginary. he's always been from this onegaverse world.
the time loop-like thing is the "regressor" trope. it's like loading a game's save file and trying different things untill you achieve the desired ending. so it's not a true time loop, bc in a true time loop, nothing can be changed.
But the thing is omegaverse never existed on his world so..... huh..... HUH is this some sort of parallel loopy loop???
