No, I totally get where you're coming from cus I’m tired of the weak twink trope. But I’d still take Ian and Van over the main couple any day. Their story feels fresher, while the main couple’s plot has just dragged on and gotten boring. And don’t even get me started on how the artist completely twinkified the MC, he doesn’t even look like the same person from the first chapter anymore.

That proof of him being more angular and intimidating show that the artist wasn't planning on making him a twink but did bc of main stream popularity.

don't get annoyed at me just bc you misused a term. among the couples featured in the hiatus chapter alone, victor and ian are twinks while everyone else can qualify as a hunk/jock. if a twink packs a bit more muscle then he's a twunk, if he's grown older and more hairy then he's an otter, etc. at least read up on marginalized communities' slangs/vernacular before using them.

ykw unpopular opinion but i don't want ian/van to be the main couple. ian's shy demeanor woulda pissed me off soon enough if he's the main guy and this ship's appeal comes from them having screentime only once in a while to break up the main couple's monotony. i do wish we can see more of them tho rip idgaf about the other couples
