(spoilers for what's still left to happen). as general info, my knowledge is from the official english release of the novel. it can be read on the app radish fiction. the events happen a little differently in the webtoon, but in case you want to read the novel, we're roughly in season 6, chapter 18.
now for the spoilers, please take these as a rough outline, because I'm definitely forgetting parts. I'm adding this after having written lots, but she also starts getting game windows herself now!!
I'd also like to note, that in the novel siger was never with them, so it's obvious some things will happen differently. in theory there's a part where robert and siger "kidnap" arielle in order to kill her for lia, while lia was away in rothschild, but nadricka puts a stop to that. but since siger isn't orviette I'm not sure if this is going to happen
-arielle's ally (ebonto) poisons the emporer and since lia is in rothschild, arielle becomes acting empress -lia is on her way back with kairos, but they notice they're being followed so they go into different carriages, because they assume they're assasins sent by kairos's brother. but they're actually assasins from arielle. -lia and etsen get ambushed. kairos later on finds the carriage completely bloodied, but no sign of their bodies - he decides to go back to orviette alone and declare lia as dead -meanwhile lia and etsen barely escaped, they fell of a cliff and are both wounded - they stay in an abandoned hut, etsen realises feelings and they kiss - chaos ensues in orviette, (this is where I'm assuming the webtoon will differ, because) siger has some sorta injury and the doctor said if he decides not to rest, he'll have a limp for the rest of his life. but he decides to look for her anyway. nadricka blames himself for not letting robert and siger kill arielle - arielle claims the issues at the border are due to the rebels and uses this as an opportunity to send eclat to the frontlines - I feel like I'm forgetting something happening (I know they met the rebels but lots of stuff is fuzzy), but once healed lia goes back to orviette meanwhile etsen goes to the frontline to bring eclat back - they confront arielle and she gets thrown into prison for treason (poisoning the emporer) - she's scheduled for execution, but etsen asks lia not to kill her and she sorta obliges (?) - lia goes to talk to her and then arielle notices that there are no guards, so she makes a run for it - I didn't understand it back in the novel, so me retelling this will make even less sense, but there was some sorta explanation, that if arielle had only chosen to stay in the prison, she would've gotten to live. - but since she's so consumed by greed she escapes and subsequently gets shot by arrows - coronation time. everything seems great - after the ceremony lia is alone with kairos and I think he offers his hand in marriage? for allyship reasons or something like that -anyway a different god appears and uses kairos to kill lia (since she upset the order of things by killing arielle, that was the chosen guest for this world) - our god goes kinda crazy in return and kills that god - lia (from now on nameless in the novel) sees the memories of when she first met our god. It was from his perspective or from a third person's perspective -there's this line of people, more accurately souls, and lia bumps into a girl -god and lia stand in front of this mirror and he explains how she just needs to walk through, and you guessed it, girl from earlier seizes this chance to go in before lia, becoming arielle
-back into the present. elvia opens her eyes
if you thought things were messy before then hold on tight.... we are now starting the time travel arc. I'll keep it as brief as possible because lots that happened was sorta unnecessary
-lia and god (who btw is never given a name) wake up in a desert. lia is now in her original body. she still has red hair, although it's a different shade and she's taller than before -god's punishment for killing another god is losing his powers. lia only realises (or suspects?) when he passes out from dehydration -they meet a dragon and lia befriends it. the dragon says he owes lia for being his first friend -a bunch of dangerous stuff happens and they end up meeting kael (? I genuinely cannot tell you the names of anyone else going forward, I'm so sorry) who will be the first emporer -kael needs help killing her siblings and father in order to gain power, she heard of lia having a dragon and tries to recruit her - time passes and lia learns lots of fighting skills - there's this "last" battle and an enemy mistakes lia for kael and tries to kill her - god then for whatever reason regains some part of his powers and manages to send lia into the "future"
- she isn't actually in the present. she now meets all of the LIs when they were kids - she thinks she's changing the future, by interacting with all of them, but her actions have already happened (time travel stuff, yk)
- lia is now in the present. six years have passed since she died and elvia woke up - the world is in shambles. nadricka escaped immediately. robert left and inherited the merchants guild, he's also a drunkard now. etsen rejoined the rebels. eclat stayed with elvia. kairos killed his brother, became emporer and started a war. (technically it's because he killed lia when forced by that other god). -siger is a mercenary and he has a limp because he decided to look for lia back when kairos told arielle she died
-lia slowly meets up with the LIs one after another. first siger, then etsen. she also meets the wizard that taught nadricka (I forgot her name) and she claims elvia killed their eldest
-they go to the battle field. eclat sees lia and knows it's her because siger and etsen are with her (? I think?) -anyway kairos rides into the orviette base and he's confused, because he cannot imagine the elvia he's talking to right now being lia -lia appears in the nick of time and so does robert (?) he recognises lia because she told him to run away, while elvia said to come to him -lia and elvia get in a close fight and just when it becomes dangerous eclat appears and kills elvia
-the war is technically over, but everyone's still fighting, lia feels hopeless and then our friend the dragon appears. people are shocked and stop
-the gang returns to the capital. and we come upon nadricka. in the past 6 years, he's been opening these sort of rifts? into another world, just to see if lia is there. -he doesn't believe that lia is actually lia and creates this giant rift, that's bound to swallow the whole world -lia risks going into the palace anyway to rescue nadricka. he ends up realising it is indeed lia, but it's too late. he can't close the rift -cue once again our dragon friend. he says it's about time he repayed lia for the favour he owes, so he sacrifices himself
-world is officially rescued -I forgot when exactly this happens but at one point etsen leaves, because he can't stand to be around or something -the eldest wizard isn't actually dead, they just said that for whatever reason, via asks her about what "ruolta" means (I am so sorry I just remembered this. it came up previously I think the other god called her that or she saw it in some books? it definitely was mentioned before) anyway ruolta means something with the soul, but it also has another meaning "god's lover"
-once again coronation time. it's smaller this time and this is where lia finally decides on a name and tells the others. you might've guessed it but yeah it's ruolta
-she finds a painting of the first emporer with her friend and sees our god in the background. he looks older and it becomes clear he stayed in the past. ruolta then checks the names and sees he's mentioned as "nameless". and this is kind of all that you get with god? I don't remember them kissing or anything.
-season 9 in the novel is all about the Mls and what's going on. everyone except etsen is with ruolta in the capital. she even offers siger and all of the kids he's been looking after places in her palace. -she goes and visit etsen on a diplomatic visit in his kingdom, that he's working on rebuilding. it was kinda unclear if he goes back to orviette with her, but he does say something along the lines of his home is with her
and that's the main story finished
there's afterstories, but those for whatever reason aren't part of the offical english translation. the novel in korean should be available for purchase on google books, so if someone's curious you can read there or wait for the webtoon to eventually get to it.
I'm sorry if anything was incomprehensible, but sooo much happens and my brain is all over the place, haha
I remember reading in noveluodates that she's pregnant by the end, and is supposed to be god's child B loves wonho
I read that too! As far as I understood it's part of the afterstories, that weren't translated though. I do have troubles imagining how he'd come back to the present and why they wouldn't include that in the main story. hopefully the webtoon takes this in a different direction!
Thanks for the spoilers. It seems WAY too long though, so I think the webtoon move wrap things up earlier.Shame about Kairos being overtaken by the antagonist, I quite liked him (way more than Etsen anyway) Tsukishiro
I hope the webtoon will wrap up earlier or at least skip some stuff!
I'm not too sure what you mean by overtaken (maybe I worded something wrong?), but everything does end with happy note
