OMG SAMEEE that's how I feel too. But you see, at least Houtsuki's mom still care about her daughter... and used to be so caring and they still love each other... they're not at the point of no return, but Chika's father does not deserve to be even called a father at this point. They're worse than just a stranger with the same blood running on their veins. He hit him, degrade him, wishing he was never born, never loved him. Father my ass. I don't even want him to prove himself because there's nothing to prove atp no matter what the reason is, him acting like that imho doesn't deserve any forgiveness although out kind boy Chika would probably still forgive him in the end.
