so many readers 1.) have no patience for actual slow burns and 2.) feel the need to keep engaging with something they know makes them mad? i do not understand it
I think it’s more of a disappointment with the author bc it’s been over 4 years that this story began and the story has not moved one bit in terms of their characters. It’s like you can take all the chapters from 2-67 and you wouldn’t have missed anything, it’d be the same.
Yes, whenever I hate a story I just drop it. I have dropped lots of other toxic bls, like toxin, steel under silk, low tide in twilight, limited run etc etc and I just find something else to read. Jinx is not as bad as those ones and the characters are not boring either, each have their own charm and potential to be better so I have no problem following it, but if I was fed up I would drop at a sec. These people must be masochists or something (〜￣△￣)〜
even if you’re just disappointed with the author you should still drop it imo. and i’m not trying to start shit, but i disagree about there being no development. dan’s growing a backbone despite being near suicidal and jaekyung is developing empathy without understanding it. the series is a day-to-day time scale and doesn’t have many large time, skips so the development feels slow because humans change slow.
I'm actually liking the slow character development, Mingwa is cooking because it will definitely hit us when JK finally gets his shit together. I just hope people stop qrts the author's tweets with hate. If you are not enjoying the story no one is forcing you to buy and read. The author has all the rights to do whatever they want with their story and take however long they want to finish it, it's their story, their own hard work. People are being so inmature towards her for no reason
