He got a checkup now, abd found out that for the past 2 months it's been reversed without him knowingg (づ￣ ³￣)づ

He got snipped years ago, it's not a permanent snip but it doesn't usually undoes itself that easily (it rarely does). Still, he has a yearly check up where he gets it checked and that yearly check up was in December (2 months ago) and back then, the snip hasn't been undone yet so he knows it's still safe. But just now, he had a check up and sees that it's undone already. It's all in the past chaptet bfr this new one.
Did he know about the snip reversal for two months without telling his partner or does it take that long to find out?
