Honestly Kyou and Misao really comes as a set and they're both so fiercely in love. Although I don't agree when he wants to slap his son, I understand where he's coming from. Misao will always be his priority regardless of situation and he wouldn't even let his son utter things like this to diminish what she went through for both of their world, albeit it being just passing sentences
