Ok, I read it three times before spitting out this comment: I feel pretty dissatisfied. The story is slowly going nowhere (I know, I know, the mysterious character, Tatsumi's words, and damn, for the first time I almost liked Kuse for the line "I have no clue what a simple-minded person thinks"). But nothing really happened, and my impression, again, is that Ogawa Chise is taking time, to slowly getting us used to the idea that Azusa and Karino are "falling in love". The abuse is fading in the shadows of the past while we are suggested that somehow Karino cares for Azusa. New characters will probably change the POV, and in the end, they might be happy in some twisted way. Azusa blushed? Who cares. Azusa is slowly becoming dependent on being abused. There's nothing to be delighted of, when someone is perverted like that agains their own will. It's just sad. I'm still under the impression sensei took the initial criticism against her plot too seriously (or more realistically, her editor did) so she softened the story, going round and round in circles to avoid the real topic: revenge. There can be nothing else between Azusa and Karino.
100% agree!!! Seeing the last chapter I realize how naive I was to ever expect some kind of development from this manga. Also, after reading other works of Ogawa Chise, it's pretty clear that a "plot twist" is not her thing, and that 'revenge' actually equals 'submission' in her mangas!
100% agree not only did I completely forget about this manga, I got bored with it. I'm sure if it's because of the time lapse or the story seems to be going no where.
