So does it ever become relevant the MC is a transmigrated Japanese person? I hate when series make them a transmigrator and it has zero impact on the story. Feels like it's just an excuse for them to reference Japanese/modern stuff for no reason. MC's values don't even seem particularly progressive/modern.
Read to chapter 6 and not really so far. I’m guessing it’ll play more into it when she meets the saintess. Or, Maybe it’s just used to explain why she’s so mature and willing to be an independent woman who can work for her own living.
read the raws up to ch 13 yes, it becomes relevant. Not necessarily to the outside/social world, but it’s how she and the saint begin to contact each other.
