Well she can't really do anything about her ties with eastern empire cause it's a fact that her parents are nobles there and not just some kind of useless ones but powerful enough to marry their daughter to the emperor
If there is a war she will be considered a bad empress in history of both empires and i think henry even mentions it somewhere so it's not really a matter that can be taken lightly
That's why henry needs to collect mana stones cause if word gets out eastern empire might be the one to start the war and again navier will be the only one to carry the blame in future history books
Let's not be hypocrats at this point, for an emperor to give up expanding his continent, being able to... It is truly a great proof of Henry's love, because if we follow the story, there is no emperor who would give up such a great opportunity, after so many sacrifices. And I understand Navier's side, but she has to put herself in her place, as empress of this nation. She does not finish untying her ties with the other country and this is hindering its politics.
