While that is true, these kind of age differences are normal waaay back then. Heck, literal grandpa (might be a king or Archduke or something) bought brides from their poor families ageing from 12, might be below. Is it disgusting? Yes, it's revolting. But this is considered normal then. Now, if the author wanted that type of relationship between her characters, it just goes to show that she's quite retarded to let that kind of story be read by much younger readers. This feels like they're grooming them. Imagine you read this and an older weird but good looking guy comes making moves on you like..... Dude. Kids will see this as like some type of fairytale but actually... It's fvking weird!!!!
