What i and maybe some people don't like about the ML is he's practically part of the issue and may be the trigger point of the suicide. And the ML's acting like the good guy while blaming the MC? bro, why did it took you the death of the victim to blame the wrong guy?
Im not saying that the ML is a good guy but I think the ML wants to know where the real MC is because all of them still thinks that the real MC is still alive.
But, you mean the ML also bullied the real MC, to the point that the real MC threaten to expose the MLs real personality before commiting suicide?
Ok I get it. So the ML is the real reason why the real MC committed suicide because he rejected the real MC.
Its not because the real MC thinks that he's alone in that world and he just want to have someone to look at him so he tries to desperately talk to the ML but failed because the way he wants to connect is not good. In the end, real MC thinks that he's alone so he decided to end his life.
I think the ML just want to let the current MC know that the guy that he protected is not just anyone but one(?) of the real MCs bully.
The current MC did not experience what the real MC experienced so he can look straight on the bully's eye. The current MC is trying so read the mood but by showing his strong side that is very diferrent from the real MC.
The ML just learned that the real MC is dead. So they(ML & current MC) both need to adjust to the world knowing the 'truth'. And maybe, deep dive to the history of the real MC.

The ML(?) is someone whose matured who understand how to survive in that 'type of world'. He's a 'fox' for a reason.
He's just genuinely worried about the real MC.
It's like those situation in real life that your friend called you in the middle of the night to hang out but you declined because its too late and you can just hung out tomorrow. But the next day, you heard the news that your friend commited suicide.
How can you move on knowing that your the last person he reach out & could have save him?
And I'm also on the ML(?) side on about how the current MC is just 'too relax' on the real MCs body that he can hung out with its bully knowing he read 'his Diary'. How will the real MC feel if he knows this.
We need deep understanding in this type of story. So interesting.
