No offense but this is why I think a lot of people have comprehension issues... He wasn't expecting him to wait for anything, he never expected him to leave, which is why he made him promise. Also at that point he thought his feelings were only that of friendship, and not wanting to lose a friendship, which normal people wouldn't cut they friends off for getting married. Should he have told him, of course, but he wasn't doing that to have a romantic relationship with him, he just wanted to maintain their current one, which I don't think was unreasonable. He only discovered his feelings were more than friendly after he was married and had that wet dream. I think it's way more unreasonable to cut off a decade long friendship without a word just because the person you like got married. If he wanted to know Yejun reasoning he could've simply asked, but no he ran away like a coward, and kept doing so only hurting himself, yet blaming the seme. Maybe peoples relationships are really just that shallow, but hell I went to the baby shower of someone I had a crush on for most of my life, I know his daughter, I'm friends on FB, and we still check in from time to time. It's really unreasonable to just ghost someone because of the burden of your feelings, especially without ever being honest. I don't understand why people don't see how unreasonable that is.
It's stupid af to expect someone to wait for you for 3 years while you go off and marry someone else without explaining why you had to do that. What would he have done if the MC dated someone else and completely moved on from him? He hinged this entire plan on the assumption MC wouldn't be dating anyone else, like are you for real? In another BL he would be the second ML who would come back into MC's life to take him back because he was a fucking dumbass to not communicate with him years before.
The artstyle is very nice but the body proportions are killing me. The bigger guys have this weird head and shoulder ratio. Their head is way smaller than their shoulder. This was a pretty decent read but the premise was too based on RNG.
