Chap 43 basically depicts what happens in the mc’s webtoon. Like the characters shown isn’t the Mc and ml but the Mc and ml from the mc’s webtoon and what his webtoon is about. If you recall, the ml kidnapped the Mc to roleplay his webtoon which is about a guy who thinks he has the perfect life of waking up to a loving bf only to one day run into his old friend and find out his life is a life, but then reveals the plot twist that happens in his webtoon of how the ml (in the webtoon) wasnt the one who lied to the Mc (in the webtoon) but it was the Mc who suggested they pretend as characters in the novel but deluded himself into thinking he truly was living the life in the novel and it shows the contrast between the Mc and ml vs the novel Mc and ml
In this story
Ml kidnaps Mc (who is a webtoon creator) to roleplay the mc in his webtoon.
In mc’s webtoon
The Mc (who is a writer) lives the life of waking up to a man named Dohyuk who loves him and they live together only to find out his life was a lie. He thinks Dohyuk lied to him about his life only to find out it was him who wanted to experiment living in fiction and deluded himself into thinking it was all real.
Either way, it follows this idea of emotions being born from fiction. The ML (ima call him his real name Jaehyuk)
Jaehyuk- ML
Dohyuk - mc’s webtoon ml
Jaehyuk wanted mc to live his webtoon but didn’t actually love him and comes to love him just as Dohyuk was only helping the mc live as the mc in his novel but eventually developed feelings from it.
Everything was going smoothly and clear until chapter 43
