I might have missed something so correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t remember seeing a reason for why Dia is so adamant about believing her own father will kill her. It just doesn’t make sense to me? I don’t remember seeing any signs he had that intent. And logically it also doesn’t benefit him in any way, if anything it would be a loss for him. Because he doesn’t have any other child to take over, so losing his only heir/daughter would be a loss. And the fact that he believes his daughter is useful by marrying her off and connecting the families, so why would he give that up by killing her?
Anyways I don’t feel bad for dia. She made her own choices that way. She admitted it that she didn’t trust eiser enough. She physically couldn’t even TALK to him and see him when he struggled. So he was there for her when she was getting high on drugs through a rough time but the moment he goes through something she couldn’t do the same and was too focused on herself. My question is, if she had gotten her goal by marrying victor with her family situation and was successful would she be as unhappy and unsatisfied? I’m convinced she’s only acting like this now because she failed in decision making and it didn’t go well for her. I believe if she successfully reached her goal using victor she would be very satisfied and content with her decision (but still greedy for more once she sees eiser happy without her). I also wonder if eiser had not become successful and was still at at a low point in his life and was weaker than victor, would she even bother considering staying or going back to him? Or she only wants to be with him now BECAUSE of the addition that he’s successful?
I Honestly think that eveerything you said is right. It feels like Dia is just angry because she miscalculated and ended up with the shorter stick, with the fact that Eiser is now happy fueling her anger
