I truly love this, its so heartbreaking. Okay to make this clear, Tae Heun our mc, has a lot og traumatic evens that build up to his ennui character, feeling empty, adds up from those events. He has a case of father issues in a tragic way, he uses senior as a father figure from his abandonment and his fear of being left alone. He had learned to have no self validation, a struggle with self worth, and a familiarity of abuse. This continues on why he stayed in a codependent relationship with Hyeong, he had the fear of being alone from the events that accured. This truama bonding made him realize they were together because of how broken they both were and stayed with him because he feels he doesn’t deserve healthy love and thinks they match for their brokeness. His relationship with him shows constant resignation rather than hope. He didn’t love him when they were in a relationship but just hoped to seek a sense of relief even if it was abusive, manipulating and toxic. But its not going to last, this story is to navigate how his emotional breakdowns and self destruct and searches for comfort in wrong ways continuing the cycle. This leads to his epiphany of how his love for Hyeong is only when he leaves him, when he finds a breeze as he feels like hes dying. He always thought of himself as a burden but wanted the best for people to he continued striving. But overall, the boss was a character who pushed him in his limits that made him realize this. He served a great purpose even if he isn’t the best person. But yeah thats my analysis on this, i love this story 10/10 (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
