I don't think he has a problem with demon kind. It doesn't seem like he wants revenge on any of them. The focus of his revenge is on humans and the gods.

But, yeah, I agree. It is wholesome to see that he might actually have one genuine relationship left.

I did find it a little weird that he focused on her chest considering he's never shown interest in anyone like that.

I'll just have to assume that it was playful banter and not something else.
