except it doesn’t bc it isn’t irrational…..stories still have to make sense to be any good and authors know that. to make them fall in love at this point would be backtracking on any character development they’ve made and saying fuck you to their own characters and the rules of the universe they’re written into. if you didn’t pay attention to the words and just looked at the pictures just say that.
you can clearly tell that mc is already in love with the ml but act oblivious abt it tho, the whole point of this story is literally abt their love-hate dynamic... and that is why these kind of stories categorized as dark romance, maybe its not a typical love story that we can easily find in the real world, but thats literally what makes it interesting.. the twisted length one could do for love is literally the backbone of every dark romance stories out there
he’s literally not but ok lmfao. there’s plenty of stories where the mc falls in love with the objectively terrible person. this mc is not in love. i hesitate to say the ml is in love either. it’s a lot more complex than a “love-hate relationship”. but think whatever you want. like i said…. delusional.
ok wait i understand your point.. but when i said love-hate i refer to how affection and hatred COEXIST together. you can clearly tell the mc is trying to suppress his feeling in chapter 67.. doesnt matter if they will end up loving each other or stabbed each other to death, the point is that they both LOVE and LOATHE each other altogether, denying one feeling over the other will never make this story work
suppressing any kind of positive feeling does not mean he loves the ml in any way, that’s a reach. i get what you’re trying to say but this is not love and hate coexisting. just bc there are times when mc forgets ml killed his family does not make it a moment of love. that is a far stronger emotion than anything we’ve seen here so far.
