ahh i havent read in ages but i think the timing had just passed, honestly i think it was love between them but the build up of time and that massive miscommunication was unfortunate. mc found someone who showed him love and brought it back to him and that was ML but truely the connection he had with his best friend... ughh the angst

i like this set up truly, i read it ages ago but honest the actor best friend is written in such a beautifully heartbreaking way, they know everything about eachother its so like... ah what it could have been...
