This had so much potential, either throw away the son as a regretful ex who loses MC permanently or have the father regret how he treated MC and solving his drama about losing a partner for the second time
Both father and son are fighting over MC without them regretting or realizing their feelings towards MC? why even bother setting that up if you're too lazy to write a conclusion for it?
