pretty much, as you tell this is their second life. MC doesnt have memories of it but ML does. SOME HORRIBLE THINGS happens like rape, abuse, assault and neglect happens all to MC in their first life. All done by ML or he was raped by ML brother. But they did love each other but there was too much misunderstanding and miscommunication that it end up with MC killing himself with ML gun that he hides in his desk in our second life. BUT him being mark and imprinted will cause him to remember. MC goes on a single phase for a while, while trying to figure things out himself, still being in love with MC but ignoring him at the same time. ML figures out that MC remembers and he goes on an EVEN MORE regrets phase with the additional of his trauma, and trying to confess and rekindle with MC. A lot of sadness and frustration tbh
i really hope they don’t follow the main story from the novel i really hope he confess and this will be the end PLEASE i don’t need a chase arc. You did so well and be chasing and i don’t want to see the past it’s VIOLENCE
