I think Mori thinks that miria is his mom from the start because of the way his friend talk about her mom and stuff,
I dont think Mori knows what his biological parents look like, I think he's just imagined it so far and since he was around humans mostly / saw a lot of human mothers pick up other kids he probably thought his mum would look the same. In the cover there's a lot of different hands of different species so I thought maybe its more of a adoptive situation
Also I think its an alternate version of Earth? Maybe I read it differently but I thought gods/aliens came to Earth and essentially took over. Its really cool!!
I dont understand the title on the way to meet mom cause mori has been fascinating and dreaming of her “real” actual mom so i assumed hes on a journey to meet his mom, but this chapter made me question does on the way to meet mom means meeting miria whos actually going to be her mother and give mori the maternal love that he needs or am i tripping like as much as i support them i wonder if mori would want the same thing because i really thought that mori is on his way to find his actual mom
Also idk the context of what or where they are i dont think theyre on earth so we could say theyre on a different planet but they honestly look like angels and demons the guy looks like a demon and miria looks like a biblically accurate angel just with a human figure im confused what dimension is this and i personally think it contributes a lot to the story i just wanna know what it is or what they are
