Idk where the manhwa is...i started reading the novel when it only had 8 chapters. So, have they talked about the apocalypse yet? Okay! This is their third world. Yes, the world has already been destroyed TWICE! In the first timeline, cha euijae was truly op! But even he couldn't stop the apocalypse, everyone was dying one by one so in the end he sacrificed himself, and with his power (he put his power inside a watch)he turned back time. But even that couldn't stop the apocalypse. Ofcourse che euijae wasn't in their world. So they couldn't hold off for long. In the second timeline, LSY used the watch again, but the watch was a one time use artifact. And the power in the watch should've depleted after CEJ used it, but because he was so powerful, there was still some power left, and with the help of Hong Yeseong, they turned back time again, but it was incomplete. The old world was aware of the new world and tried to merge with it. To stop that from happening, LSY became the warden. He alone wandered in the ruined world to stop it from merging with the 3rd world. But he couldn't stop it entirely. The sword "Basilisk's fang" originally belonged to LSY, but cha euijae randomly found it in the west sea rift. That sword was crafted by Hong Yeseong so later he'll recognise it. He was like, "This sword was made by me but I don't remember ever making it. "
Sighh... A lot of depressing things happen and are still happening. I'm bawling my eyes out! But they still find time to bicker and flirt like an old couple. Lee sayoung's past also gets revealed. But we i still don't know the details. Exactly what he went through. LSY was the child CEJ saved before he went to the west sea rift. And after he disappeared, LSY was kidnapped by Prometheus and was experimented on. Later he awekened and was rescued by Jung bin and shield guy. Since his poison was so potent they taught him how to control his power before taking him back to the awakened bureau with them. While with them he learnt that cha euijae went inside west sea rift and hasn't come out. The rift also closed so they're thinking that maybe he died.

you're welcome! im on chap. 256, and looking back the watch is important because simply of it's purpose to turn back the time. SY is the one who turned back the time in the 2nd tl.
the theory is, 1st tl's destruction wasn't stopped so it merged with 2nd tl, and now 1st and 2nd tl kinda became the dungeon/rift itself.
and because 2nd tl SY in slowly merging with the 3rd tl (present) SY, the apocalypse will quickly come since the one who is holding the 2nd tl is no longer present (2nd tl SY)
