If they are not together by chapter 200 then I would stop reading this, that would be too much.
Actually, most Shojo stories I’ve seen were under 100 chapters. Though it is true this is a much slower burn than usually, but I find politics here interesting
Their love story takes excruciatingly long to bloom. it's over a hundred chapters and they have yet to be together.
I was under the impression that shoujo stories contain less that 100 chapters so I thought by the 80th one they are already together. But since the story is centered in war and politics, it's gone this long and neither their romance nor their victory has yet to bloom.
I've been reading this for years now, okay. YEARS. I thought it would be done by now. So, if you're not a fan of slow burn love stories, this isn't for you.
Looks like it's gonna take another year for me to marinate this story to continue reading it.
