Constant use of painkillers (depending on the type) will cause damage to the internal organs, if taken for too long. Some may also cause Gastritis...(￣∇￣;)

Well he'll probably try doing endolymphatic sac surgery or use a tympanostomy tube, if that's even possible. I don't think he'll do a labyrinthectomy though...but who knows? Let's wait and see. At least he's not out of options, even tho the success rate of said surgeries isn't that high.
