Maybe because he can’t see Lloyd in the future that he’s seeing because Lloyd’s power is limitless? I think that his future ability will be unexpectedly wrong because of Lloyd’s unpredictable action on the upcoming chapters.

…why is Lloyd not a part of Escher’s plan? I guess we shall see. He might be waiting to use him for the very end. Although he did send him to the outermost part of the battlefield.
