the story is completely messed up and both characters have a serious problem that should be called out. i like the story because it’s interesting and i feel that the author doesn’t make it seem like it’s lovely that he’s abusive and a horrible person, but that they both are selfish and bad, one’s a stalker and the other one a rapist. I don’t think that you should like these characters as anything but entertaining, like a drama or brutal tv show
I think there’s like a major difference between a stalker and a full on rapist the story isn’t even good it’s your typical rape yaoi with a whiny Twink bottom and abusive rapist ml. There’s like 300 versions of this. You guys seriously can’t enjoy this garbage do you never get tired of reading the same shit just in different fonts.
yeah there is a complete difference betweeen the two, but it’s honestly my first time reading a story like this so that might be the reason why, you can read or consume a media piece without necessarily avoiding the fact that it’s inherently wrong, I just skip every scene that is non con because it makes me uncomfortable but the art is cute
Never read it but judging what im seeing, its just a typical “truama” story the author made. Its only a truama story when the author feels the emotional connection between the fictional characters and understands them well. Most authors in making “traumatic” stories like these dont get the full concept and ends up making a rape filled story to stick out to viewers who also don’t understand the exact truamatic events. In most cases, authors need to understand the psychological aspect of truama instead of listing certain disorders, mentality, perspective, and issues. Thats my take on this story （￣へ￣）
that is also true, I had the impression at the beginning that it was going to address both characters trauma, in a ‘bound to be fools’ kind of way, but it skips to the “I can’t hate it because I’m super in love” that I think overlooks the traumatic events that happened to the mc and it leads to people romanticizing that kind of behavior from the ml instead. it's difficult to take that kind of subject without trivializing it if you want to appeal to a mainstream audience :/
