fuckkk this is so good i actually cried in the end . i find yuriko the most relatable honestly. her loving bl because she doesn't have to imagine herself as one of the characters and just be the "third wheel" hits so damn hard. also sousuke realizing that gaku likes him in the end was so emotional. i lowkey wanted a progress between them until i realized that its better they stay as friends because sousuke is definitely straight. they both can still love each other, as friends, while keeping their relationship intact without having to destroy it because of gaku's unrequited love.
platonic relationships can be as beautiful as romantic ones, even though the romantic love everyone expected you to have may not be there, you still love each other in different ways. i love how the manga stayed true to that message until the very end, showing yuri and gaku being content and happy by simply having a good dinner together. both of them slowly getting comfortable towards each other was such an amazing development too!!!
