I don’t think it was claustrophobic but PTSD. In the early chapters, you can see him getting beaten/slapped up by a member of his family being coerced to discipline him. And after he got slapped by the butcher, you could see snippets of that scene again. He was quite young when this all probably started and that much trauma can be very paralyzing no matter how big or strong you get.
I think OP was talking about Mugo. But yeah It looks like Mugo has some ptsd also.
Ohhh lol sorry yeah I was just basing it off the last chapter. The MC is quite a buff guy as well too. But def both have PTSD for sure
I think that's cos he was locked in ba small place and asked to grant wishes or soon a chapter

Not sure about the granting wishes part, but he was kept in a small space(a pot) or thereabt in Ep 9 or so
For such a strong and muscular man, I did not expect him to be claustrophobic
