Beautiful. Deals with shame in such an imperfect, fleshed out way that it feels incredibly human. Odajima not only struggles with shame over his sexuality because of societal heteronormative standards but also because of the guilt he harbors about finding exhilarating the very thing that ruined his illusion of the happy nuclear family he had at home.
