liking dark themes that can be sensitive to others is not a mental illness. yes its fucked up and twisted, but this kind of "genre" aka deaddove has been around for who knows how long and most importantly, its fiction. im not out here wanting those themes to happen to me or someone else in real life EVER, but reading it is a whole different thing

I don't understand commenters like u. Good on u for having a distinction over fiction and real world.
We don't. shotacons? weird, SA turned romantic? Weird. Take your high horse of an opinion and get out out of the comment that disagrees with you in a serious topic as rape, SA.
If you like these problematic things then why you gotta be all up loud and defensive about it? You don't have a problem reading it then read. Why u gotta insert an unasked opinion?

The artist has made a fucked up work called, 'stranger in the mirror' which has dub-con but least you can argue it was for the plot.
However THIS author plus the artist has been under fire before and still is bc their story, including dated old posts DEFENDING and ROMANTICIZING rape. It's not for the story (trust me I read the og Korean book, its not a translation problem), but bc they get a kick out of rape.
Idc wtf u read, idc what opinion you have. The og commenter disliked it, there's no need to say 'its rape but fictional'. Second who are you even using this defense on then? Lol. An author who has a problematic sadistic kink? The og commenter already stated the author has "mental problems".

Okay.. so you read those fucked up mangas/book and you're arguing with me because?? Clearly you enjoy what you're reading especially if you're looking up the manga adaptation of the book LMAO. I don't know anything about the author or their past so don't assume I know. and fyi i can reply to whoever I want regardless I disagree/agree. It's MY OPINION and you'ee the only arguementive one here.

Wow did u check the ratings I give? They are in my list bc they are rated 1 star, I write spoilers about them too like "toxin", "march", "love history caused by willful negligence". Or I warn them about the non-con work bc most of them are adapted from novels, or already published in Korean. Did you check my comments or activity posts? Or even READ what my about page is about?

Reading list does not equal to = like it, but ratings. You've been here since 2020 idk why u don't know that.
Also u don't know the author yet you defended the work. Yea u can reply to whoever and whatever i just don't understand why say "is not a mental illness. yes its fucked up and twisted, but this kind of "genre"." which all I'm doing is correcting you, and now u don't want me assuming you know them? so inherently your first comment literally holds no meaning. Its fiction to you but the author is problematic, its been established. so its not just a fiction atp? but some fucked up fantasy?
And certainly our opinions clash, yes, you are right I was aggressive at first and am sorry about that. But you weren't stating an opinion, but defending an author/artist who is known to be problematic. Whether you knew it or not. I ain't arguing, I am stating.
The title of the novel is "Storming In". full of rape. The author is a person with mental problems who romanticizes rape. MC is beaten to a broken bone, gang-raped by ML, raped and bleeds every time he is raped by SCUMBAG ML, mentally tortured by ML throughoutly. ML has obsessive tendencies to see MC raped, hurt. Finally falls in love with ML? what the fuck? I thought there would be a revenge scene on ML, but it turns out they are in love...even though there was a green flag man, who I thought MC would like that greenflag-man, but.... he has Stockholm syndrome with ML!!! I can't stand to read the novel until the end, I only read the last chapter because I want to know how the ending is, all I get is them together? Even though there is a redeem trope, I'm still not satisfied because they are together.
