No I think it's to prevent the sacrifice to further escape. As be said around this time the sacrifices would try to escape and run off, hence maybe the Kang family made sure that this never happens, they told mercenaries or other people showing pictures of him to just in case they see those sacrifices walking around outside when they shouldn't even exist anymore cuz they're dead and have been eaten, and that'll tell them that they escaped. Just an added measure from the Kang family.

This is what I understand thou, could be wrong but from MC's past it looks like the family is quite sus and can't be trusted and very abusive ( ̄へ ̄)

But butcher still kidnap him to pass it as if he ran away. Because he went to fetch him in the house of Lord Mugo. Not outside of it.

Yes the order is in case sacrifices escape. But Jayson didn’t escape. The butcher guy had to trick him out to capture him to collect the reward after he spotted him at the supermarket.

Nah the butcher isn't that much 'in the know', you see.

He saw the sacrifice in town, knew of the reward and figured he had ran away and was just hiding in Mugo's house. I mean, why the hell would the mighty Kang family tell randos "there is a dangerous creature there who we sacrifice people to in order to keep our wealth, so if the dude's there we good"? That just screams for trouble.

Pretty sure they excluded that part, and just went around saying "if you see this dude, tell us and/or capture them for money".

And he was just seen outside the house, so anyone without much context like that guy would've thought that he was trying to get away or escape so might as well capture him and reap the rewards or something

Yeah of course he wasn’t in the know. At no point did I assume he was. I am only talking about why there are a pSA on Jaheon from the Kang family. As in they don’t know specifically he is alive and more “in case he escape, we got people to keep a look out”. But not as Jaheon specifically escape and more if a preventive thing they put in place for every sacrifice. And butcher just saw an opportunity. He knows about the wanted post. Not about what is going on the mansion. He still knows the Kang family send people there regularly since he is the one saying that in that chapter, even if he just think it is prostitution.

But at no point I said butcher was aware of lord Mugo (he still knows he lives alone) nor what is the deal with the Kang family.

What meant by my tweet initial comment is:

Butcher believe Jaheim is a prostitute send by the Kang to “entertain” the guy “living alone” in the mansion. He knows normally that mugs lives alone since he said “I have only seen one person living there”.

He also knows certainly from rumors that on regular basis omega that are send sometimes try to escape “around that time”. And that the Kang reward anyone who see one escapes and inform them.

Butcher saw Jaheon at the supermarket when he and Mugo did grocery. And he knows that mugo was the owner of the mansion because butcher himself comment on his surprise of seeing another face in that mansion.

With all that. He figured that Ja is the omega that the Kang has asked to watch as a runaway from the mansion…. Except the both time butcher saw him was at the supermarket in company of Mugi and within the mansion. So Ja obviously didn’t runaway from his “whoring duty”.

If butcher follow the request plus the rumours he should call Kang family if Ja had been walking around alone. Implying that he did run away. But anyway passing by and observing it just can tell that he is just living there. Therefore he had literally no reason to involve himself.

That is why he kidnap him. He tricked outside with mumbling so Ja would get closer to him and get him. He didn’t want to report to the family. He just figured out Ja had so value and wanted to use that to extort the Kang family. It is not Ja that was is target but the Kang wealth thinking he would have leverage since the Kang seemed interested in the whereabouts of Ja.

I hope that clarified my comment.
