I understand what you mean. He is a grown man, and he could walk away from all of this—his awful father, his terrible friend, and even prostituting himself to some old man in a hotel. Of course, it's awful that he has these kinds of people around him, but still, he could just change jobs, take his boy, and live a normal life. Especially if this kind of environment is pushing him toward suicide.

As if his shitty dad wouldn't destroy him, y'all think he got so obedient and depressed because he wanted to? Sole son of chaebol and all that, us civilians struggle to get over some situations and y'all expect him to go where? He's not Jack from the neighborhood where he can just up and leave with no trace and nobody would care.
And I still don't get what are his shitty actions, he's the victim here and still treating people kindly when he cares.
Even mc who is extremely naive got that it wouldn't be easy running away.
The "why don't you just leave?" Sounds really victim blaming to me.
But do you, if you want to drop this

Oh yes, just say that it's victim-blaming and end of story. Yes, his father is shitty and could destroy his life (but what kind of life it is when you want to kill yourself?). But if he’s got the guts to kill himself, then he should take that same guts to try everything to get out of this situation.
I know the kind of answer that’s coming—"it's desperation pushing you to these extremes " But on the other hand, how much courage do you have in yourself to commit suicide? Just put that courage in another direction.
About the "shitty actions"maybe it was said too harshly, but giving head to an old man in a hotel room when you’re not willing to is really shitty. With that same mouth, he's gonna go and kiss MC, and I’m sure he’s going to feel shitty about it knowing he has feelings for him.
First, treat yourself as a human being after that think about being kind to others
And it’s not "why don't you just leave?"......it’s "Just fucking leave already."
I'm dropping it.
I have had enough of these kinds of stories. I'm really disappointed because it was a really good one, but I can't read another story with a main character who is doing shitty things because of trauma, past hardships, emotional scars or a tragic backstory.
