This is too beautiful, i was so immersed reading itI love how instead of immediately romanticising a sea predator, it showed us that it was only Rosie who was anthropomorphising the mermaid in her head due to emotional vulnerability. I wonder how the mermaid will react once she realises that Rosie is actually helping her by stitching her tail. I bet after this she'll leave the village with her dad(despite her original refusal, she'll be forced to become realistic) and the mermaid will get the chance to finally leave the cave since her tail will get healed, and then we'll have a follow and chase mini arc
