I don't think he is complicated per se. His personality is just different from the usual semes. He knows he doesn't want to get into a relationship and he has made it very clear to the uke. He HAS been treating the uke very respectfully as well. He is aware that uke is important but needs more than that to jump into a relationship.
I think it's going to be one of those "fell later but fell harder" things with yoongun. This story can be boring at certain points but I feel this is how most relationships work irl. (I have never had a healthy one so I maybe wrong here lol but still better to proceed with caution than jump in and get hurt)
He already fell for mc and he's in denial state, he acts like a boyfriend but didn't wanna put label for their relationship that's all, he thought mc as his usual partner but deep down he knew it's not like that he just didn't want to face his feelings
What I hate the most is they both feel the same way may be yoongun probably more care about kyuho than kyuho did for him yet he made kyuho suffered alone, yeah I know they both start with fwb but they fall in love almost at the same time, I won't blame him if he didn't feel the same way as kyuho did for now but he's being selfish rn if kyuho tired of his shit and leave him, he won't stand a day he'll chase kyuho lmao that's how he's obsessed with him
I vaguely remember reading the novel and the chasing arc is super short so we won't get that satisfaction.
