Yeah, ML understands that MC doesn't mean any harm. He just wants to be a part of every aspect of ML's life, which is something ML intuitively relates to as he wants the same hahah. Big respect to MC for not pushing it and trying really hard to understand where ML is coming from, instead of the BS of 'well they're still your family, don't want to reconnect' and blah blah blah.
