I find longer tragedies to be harder on people since you have more time to get attached to the characters and really get to know them. It hits harder when things go wrong.

So, from what I've found, there are multiple endings to the novel. I know of three of them. He doesn't appear to die permanently at least, but he does experience death.

I was having an absurd thinking. Most stories don't kill their Mc, but what if this one does(permanently)? that's why i asked if he dies( permanently) just in case coz I wouldn't be able to handle it if that happens. Your spoiler answered that concern Thank you sm sorry for the confusion
I made a mistake, this isn't the first tragic manhwa I read. It was ORV. The story that made me cry buckets even when i wasn't reading but just remembering.

Yeah, the death shouldn't be permanent, but you never know how things might be different from the novel ╮(￣▽￣)╭ its always good to be prepared.
