EXACTLY!! I feel like between him and the duke and Derrick, he was the most proactive in changing his perspective and interactions with her. Sure the duke also acknowledged his mistakes and tried to right them, but I feel like Reynold took more steps to build upon his efforts rather than take more sparse big steps. Even with his tsundere personality you could still see his effort. Anyways I hope this makes sense. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
Rereading this and Reynold was really the first one to completely change his ways and perspective of Penelope. He really just wanted to be a better brother for her. He defended against his own brother AND refused to accept Yvonne. Gotta give him props for sticking by Penelope regardless of whatever
