That makes so much sense as well. Let me whip out my Literature major (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
WHAT IF
So we know that in the myth, Sisyphus is condemned to the eternal task of rolling a boulder uphill only for it to roll back down each time he nears the summit = symbolizes endless struggle and the human condition of persisting despite inevitable failure (yay)
Since the setting is humanity facing an apocalypse/calamity where the dead rises again -> leads the world erupting into chaos. That would make Guwon the one who moves against the tide of survivors whom try to stay alive, which is kinda embodies the struggle against ceaseless adversity. AND this is perfectly in parallel with Sisyphus’s perpetual endeavor
Do I make sense or am I overthinking this is all my brain can manage at 1:25 am
So I was thinking if Guwon is possibly…dead?
I mean:
1. Stitches around neck and ankle
2. Has no memory
3. White eyes (like the zombie’s on the mountain? (I don’t remember where was that lol))
He is pretty much moving I just thought who knows. The stitches could be simply tattooes and the eye can be white bc the author said so ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
