Yes, that's what I felt. At a certain moment in our lives we get hit we a realisation that this person, or this thing deserve more than we have been doing. To him this person is it. The people he dated knew what they were getting themselves into, coming asking a guy literally after he broke up with someone and knowing that he doesn't like and agreeing to it. Why does he have to hold the responsibility of you own assumptions ( He'd like once he gets to know me )
Am I really the only one who isn’t mad at him? I don’t feel like it’s a come uppance or anything like that. It’s just sad. This is what he’s been conditioned to do, and he tries his hardest for the role he thinks he’s meant to play, no matter how he feels about it. There’s honor in that. He allows people to do what they desire with the expectation of an end. It’s like Love for Sale.
