that's what so stupid coz remember, ML was so quick to push legal action to MC on the first chapters when he was scamming him, why not do that again instead? that would be more in line with the plot and his character. As for the angst, doesn't he have an overly protective bro, then have that dude act like a barrier who reprimands ML again for being scammed while the uke grovels trying to get in touch with him to hear his side-- there's your angst, there's your plot, and it still makes sense for ALL of those characters to act that way. That finale was like a sudden bad ending in an otome game fr.
I understand feeling betrayed and shit but that doesn't give you the right to "punish" or rape or do ANYTHING to the other party. Like if you want to do something go follow it up with the LAW. WITH LAWFUL JUSTICE. CAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE ANY RIGHT TO DO ANYTHING TO HIM. NO MATTER WHAT HE DID!
