I read the raws and it still seems like he might actually like him, or rather be obsessed with him. I don't think it's an act of revenge but I didn't translate it, only a few panels and even then it wasn't very well
no, it's not about the revenge, like you said, the ml is OBSESSED with the mc and it started in high school. he developed an unhealthy obsession with him back then, from what i understand.
at the end of season one, after basically raping the mc, ml is telling him to say with him together, forever. the mc is clearly in distress and crying, looking at his expression he is scared but the ml seems happy, he doesn't care about anything but to have the mc for himself.
Oh no, it's just because OP's comment made it sound like Ml wanted revenge and switched personalities to lure him in, that's why I included the revenge part as many thought ml wanted revenge for highschool during earlier chapters
