Is anyone else tired of the trope where the ML gets upset with the FL for not remembering their past, typically due to an accident or trauma? It's frustrating when this plot device is used to justify the ML being a jerk or him sleeping around/being a womanizer, it feels just like an excuse rather than meaningful character development. I think it really detracts from the authenticity of the story.

i dont think he's being a jerk in this case because he may not know the full story only the part where she fell and he saved her(i may be wronge or forgotten smthn if he does know). and i havent seen anything about him cheating. but i agree with you in general that trope really is annoying

I don’t think he’s cheating either, but his personality up till this point/before getting together with FL has been womanizer/kind of a man whore. Also it’s more like he’s being petty because she does’t remember. Like in most of these cases they’re indirect about their feelings to FL or do weird contradictory things so their feelings don’t seem sincere. In this type of genre they rarely are direct about their past and their feelings to FL, and always seem to be waiting on the FL to “make a move”

are we sure he has actually been with woman before her thats my question actually sure theirs rumors about stuff like that but the one about him with erectile dysfunction is apparently not true which means those could be untrue as well and if he fell inlove with her when they were kids( im just assuming that for now until I'm proven wronge) usually the author goes the route of "he's been waiting for her" this whole time.
