Nah irl Skorean prisons are far from punishment. But yeah Heonjae does need serious therapy tho. But I also think him having someone love him and show him affection would also be good for him. Someone who is assertive but kind bc he does has insecurities like the fear of being hated and avoided.
The abuse he went through makes me pity him so much. The reaction he had to that mannequin is clearly a big sign of some sort of mental health issue. Myung-il can’t help him, Heonjae can’t rely on him. If only South Korea’s prison system was more focused on rehabilitation rather than punishment, Heonjae would be way better off in a facility that could treat him well and reintegrate him back into society, even if what he did to his teacher was horrible.
