Sensei did rewrite the story, both versions are beautiful but I do think the newest version improved the story and you don't have to read both to understand the story or anything

I'm confused. Should I reread this version or the the rose of hundred days version? Is it a continuation or like everyone said, sensei rewrote the story from beginning?? (￣∇￣")
