I read the alcohol manga first years ago..and bawled my eyes out I finally picked up the courage to read this one today and despite not being a lesbian I related to the loneliness,depression,guilt and the hair pulling problem.
Just the way she tells everything so rawly makes me realise I’m not that alone..that just like her my problems aren’t just in my head.That chasing after parental approval and neglecting yourself is very much true.
This all the more makes me love her work,there’s no lies about it it’s her experience that I can relate to.
