Cuz it rly ain't as simple as we think, she's been working for her family's sake her entire life, of course she wouldn't put them at risk and throw it all away for her own selfish needs that she's been turning down all this time, she's very careful and he's being VERY patient, there probably is a way to solve this but as of now I can rly understand why she's not being impulsive and giving in immediately
The thing is she has already made her choice and turned him down. The author is the one who won’t move on. They’re trying to show the FL contemplating and regretting her choice, but it’s unnecessary.
Maybe it's cuz she subconsciously actually wants him just as much as he does but she's just putting up a frontstage because of the circumstances
Reality check!!! Okay I get this is frustrating but if she dates him and it doesn’t work out her entire family’s income is in jeopardy. And even if it doesn’t work out. Someone in their group will just try to sabotage her. Realistically, she should probably turn him down. But any ways reality aside they would make a great couple
